Such a cool and random little treasure:

The Facebook page, the Confederate Cleaner, recently posted about a Confederate monument located in a cemetery in Goodman, Mississippi, which has been abandoned for many years is currently in a state of disrepair. Erected in 1896, it is one of the oldest monuments in the state. “The stones that belong to these once brave men will once again be shining and their beloved flag they fought so hard under will be waving in the wind once more over them,” writes the Confederate Cleaner. “Hopefully we can have this done before the cold months set in. If not, we will dang sure have it done by spring.”
I am looking forward to seeing it!

A bit different from the kind of statues I usually post about, but I thought this was pretty cool: a plaque has been added next to the charging bull statue in New York City, officially acknowledging Arturo Di Modica, the Italian sculptor who created it.
