As always, I appreciate Beauvoir’s willingness to present Jefferson Davis in the positive light that he deserves, especially given the horrendous way that Davis has been treated by our society as a whole over the past few years. I appreciate that this historic site emphasizes the positive aspects of Davis’s character, leadership, and career.
