Take a look at the below comment by “maddieelam”:

“Actually, they were! Hope this helps!”

Excuse me?

Maddie appears to be stating that, in fact, Benny Johnson’s ancestors were evil.

What an abhorrent, despicable, and brainless thing to write.

How dare someone state that another person’s ancestors, in their entirety, were evil?

It is unclear exactly what Benny’s ancestors did wrong to merit such a harsh condemnation. It’s possible that an individual ancestor, or even several individual ancestors, did something sufficiently bad to merit the designation of evil. But for each and every one of Benny’s ancestors to have been evil is statistically extremely unlikely, to say the least, and is not something that Maddie could possibly have evidence to prove. Therefore, Maddie is falsely, and without justification, condemning people as evil.

To criticize, let alone condemn as evil, a person or group without justification is cruel and mean-spirited. And to state that a person’s ancestors, in their entirety, were evil, is an act of intolerance and bigotry.

Does Maddie think that the ancestors mentioned in the post are evil because they came from Europe? Because they had light skin? Because they lived in a different time period than she does, and therefore dressed differently, talked differently, and thought differently than her? Regardless of the exact reasoning, Maddie is cruelly condemning people as evil for the “crime” of being different from her. This is the epitome of intolerance and bigotry.

Maddie’s intolerance and bigotry become even worse if one interprets Benny’s post as being about the ancestors of Americans in general, rather than just his own personal ancestors. If one interprets the post this way, then Maddie is stating not only that all of Benny’s ancestors were evil, but that all Americans of the past were evil. The bigotry and intolerance inherent in such a statement are appalling.

“Actually, they were! Hope this helps!”

Um, no. Actually, they weren’t. And you are a bigot and a bully for making this racist comment. Hope this helps, Maddie!

bookmark_borderTrump statement on legal victory

Donald Trump recently prevailed over the criminal cases brought against him by tyrannical, bigoted prosecutors. Here’s his statement on the good news:

“These cases, like all of the other cases I have been forced to go through, are empty and lawless, and should never have been brought. Over $100 Million Dollars of Taxpayer Dollars has been wasted in the Democrat Party’s fight against their Political Opponent, ME. Nothing like this has ever happened in our Country before. They have also used State Prosecutors and District Attorneys, such as Fani Willis and her lover, Nathan Wade (who had absolutely zero experience in cases such as this, but was paid MILLIONS, enough for them to take numerous trips and cruises around the globe!), Letitia James, who inappropriately, unethically, and probably illegally, campaigned on “GETTING TRUMP” in order to win Political Office, and Alvin Bragg, who himself never wanted to bring this case against me, but was forced to do so by the Justice Department and the Democrat Party. It was a political hijacking, and a low point in the History of our Country that such a thing could have happened, and yet, I persevered, against all odds, and WON. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

(source here)

Trump did indeed persevere against all odds, and won. That is an inspirational thing indeed.

Ben Carson also said it perfectly:

“While I am pleased each time I see one of President Trump’s cases dismissed, I can’t help but reflect on the dark stain these last few years have left on our nation’s reputation and integrity. The lawfare, lies, deception, and collusion have caused irreparable damage to many of our institutions. It’s perhaps the greatest act of desperation in the history of American politics, yet it was soundly rejected by We the People. I pray the American people will remember this when the left inevitably tries it again and that we ALWAYS choose liberty over tyranny.”

bookmark_borderDespicable New York Times “fact check” re: RFK

The New York Times wrote the following ridiculous paragraph in an article about Robert F. Kennedy:

“Mr. Kennedy has singled out Froot Loops as an example of a product with too many artificial ingredients, questioning why the Canadian version has fewer than the U.S. version. But he was wrong. The ingredient list is roughly the same, although Canada’s has natural colorings made from blueberries and carrots while the U.S. product contains red dye 40, yellow 5 and blue 1 as well as Butylated hydroxytoluene, or BHT, a lab-made chemical that is used ‘for freshness,’ according to the ingredient label.”

The Times claims that the ingredient list is roughly the same, while in the very same sentence listing four substantial differences in the ingredient list.

It’s like Mary Lincoln telling someone that she mostly enjoyed watching “Our American Cousin,” except for the minor detail of her husband being shot in the head by John Wilkes Booth.

How can the Times not see that it is directly contradicting itself in a single sentence?

“But he was wrong,” the Times pompously boasts. Not seeing the fact that they are proving Kennedy right with their very next sentence, in which they list the artificial ingredients in Froot Loops.

As Brad Cohn points out: “As you see, the ingredient list is just completely identical, except the US product contains formaldehyde, cyanide, and nearly undetectable levels of saxitoxin.”

The New York Times is pathetic, both for their contemptuous tone and for their complete lack of logic.

First for the bad news: due to sexism and sexist double standards, Matt Gaetz did not have the necessary votes needed for confirmation and therefore withdrew his nomination for Attorney General.

Trump has nominated Pam Bondi for Attorney General instead, who also seems like a good pick.

Now for the good news: Ron Paul has officially been named an advisor to the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) 🙂

Another thing in the news that has brought a smile to my face is President Trump’s visit, along with some members of his new administration, to Madison Square Garden for a UFC match. No further commentary from me is needed, because the wonderful pictures speak for themselves:

bookmark_borderCelebrating Trump and his awesome cabinet picks

For four and a half years, I have abstained from consuming news. I don’t read the newspaper, I don’t watch news on TV, and I don’t visit news websites. For four and a half years, I really have not followed, or been involved with, electoral politics. Starting with the progressive left’s decision in late spring 2020 to obliterate from the earth everything that makes life worth living, and culminating with the election of November 2020, essentially everything in the world of news and politics has been100% negative. The content of the news has been so painful, so demoralizing, so depressing, so almost entirely bad, that I have not been able to engage with it, to be involved with it, or to even consume content about it. Doing so was simply too painful.

But now this has changed.

For the last two weeks, something very strange has been happening. Things are happening in the news that are cool! Things are happening in the news that are positive, that are good, that are awesome! The content of the news makes me happy, and brings a smile to my face!

This is a revolutionary concept indeed. It is something that for four and a half years, I did not experience. At all. Ever. It’s been such a long time that I’ve forgotten what it was like.

For four and a half years, this blog has been dedicated almost solely to expressing my rage and grief about, and attempting to process, the unspeakable atrocities inflicted by the devotees of “woke” ideology. But I remember now that I used to blog about things going on in the world of news and politics, both positive and negative. It used to be a regular occurrence that I would share, on my blog, things in the news that made me smile.

Once more, as I did in the distant past, I have been feeling the urge to blog about the cool things in the news that I’ve been coming across. I am feeling, just a little bit, like the blogger that I used to be, before society decided to completely destroy everything that makes my life worth living. I had forgotten what it was like to be that blogger. I thought it would never happen again.

Throughout these hellish four and a half years, I did keep one source of news open. I continued to follow right-wing politicians, activists, and organizations on social media (specifically Instagram, because I decided to cease using Twitter as well, finding it too triggering and overstimulating). Finding out about major news developments through an ideological lens that for the most part I agree with, was the only way that I could find out about such developments without it being overwhelmingly painful. For now, those right-wing social media accounts continue to be my only source of news. It is through them that I have found out about the incoming Trump administration and the amazing cabinet picks.

So without further ado, here are some of the social media posts that have brought a smile to my face regarding Trump, his incoming administration, and his awesome cabinet picks:

bookmark_borderTulsi Gabbard appointed Director of National Intelligence

The good news continues! Tulsi Gabbard, one of the most outspoken advocates for liberty and individual rights in recent years, has been named Director of National Intelligence by Donald Trump. Gabbard used to be a Democrat, and served as a Congresswoman representing Hawaii from 2013-2021, before becoming an independent and then a Republican.

Various people pointed out the poetic justice of Gabbard’s appointment, considering the fact that she was placed on a terror watch list for the “crime” of criticizing the Biden administration:

bookmark_borderShelley Luther elected to Congress

Some more positive news from the election: Shelley Luther, the hairdresser from Texas who was jailed for the crime of keeping her hair salon open in 2020 when the government ordered businesses to close down, was elected to Congress. A brave freedom fighter, Luther is exactly the kind of person that Congress, and America as a whole, needs more of.
